Here’s a couple of photos of some deer looking for corn under a flooded deer feeder. I guess they were so used to being fed here every night.

Whitetail Buck with Horn in Nasal Cavity
Here’s another interesting set of photos.
In the first photo notice the bulge under and to the left of the deer’s eye out between the nose and the eye. (left eye)
On the second picture, the bulge is more noticeable and you can see what appears to be a wound in front of the deer’s right eye.
Look at the third picture; this explains it all.
I guess you could say this was a “nine pointer”.
I don’t know if this buck got the doe, but she wasn’t worth it.

New Boone & Crockett State Record Whitetail Buck
Here’s a story I received a few months ago. I did a little research but couldn’t verify the location or the claim to be a Iowa State Record. Nice trophy bucks, none-the-less. Monster Buck.
The email came to me with the title: New world record from Iowa.
Buck grossed 235 and netted 223 typical, taken in Sperry, Iowa. The “smaller” buck on the truck, scores 201.
