Monster Hog killed near Cut and Shoot, Texas

This humongous hog was killed near the town of Cut-N-Shoot, Texas.  Yes, that is the real name of the town.  See here

Over 1,800 lb. wild boar shot and killed near the County Airport, East of I-45 and near the community of Cut and Shoot.  Killed by a medical radiology worker.  What would you do if this beast was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree? Or simply get run over ?

There are some that say you should stand still in the face of a hog.  Apparently, their sight is bad and would not charge you.  I’ve got to say Good Luck with that approach.  As for me, I’m running.

looks photoshoped for 2 reasons one the guy is always hidden behind the hog ,if i would have killed it i would have been in front, two the hogs body is short in the first photo and long in the third, and i dont think hogs get that big in texas but what do i know im a 14 year old kid that only deer hunts

this hog was shot in Europe. more specifically in the country of Turkey. if you google “Nature Tours in Turkey”, the website for this guide service comes up. P.S. “Nature Tours” is the name on the side of the truck. If you go to the pictures on the website, these pics are shown. Nice try, but saying this hog came from texas just made me want to prove it wrong, and I did, but if you dont believe me, go look for yourself, its all there to see.

Here’s what looks like the source of the photos. http://naturetours.com.tr/approches/approches.htm

The third photo is definetly Photo shop. Because the body of the Boar is ACTUALLY a Bear! Look at the hair texture and then look along the back between the shoulder area, it has been “cloned”. Plus, the tail is long, like a pig in the first pic but no tail (short) like a bear in last! Although, I have seen some Monster Boars, this one is a little to “HOAXY” for me!

  7. I ain’t too impressed with this shoat. Back in W.V. we used to throw up a rope and gantline up three or four hogs like this for our “Labor Day” cookout. You really don’t want to call this “pig”, big, do you?

  8. NO photo shopping here it was just shot in Turkey on one of hunting lease type places they have a whole page of it they have driven hunts and stalking hunts. I wondered because the two guys of the outter sides looked from another country and they were..

Notice how the vegetation in front of the pig doesn’t match the vegetation behind the pig in any of the photos? The least they could have done is taken the pictures of the people in the same location as the pig so that the picture at least looked real from to bottom. As it is, it is as about believable as seeing a picture of the QE II sailing through Montana.

has this pig/bear? been left out to bloat?? just wondering.

This is b.s. i live in Cutnshoot and there is no way in hell…

  14. I figured out it was a hoax as I suspected the Indian-made TATA Telcoline pickup truck wasn’t sold in the U.S. I checked to verify and sure enough TATA doesn’t sell any of their vehicle lineup in the US. It’s Turkey…

Just a question, how did he manage to kill that thing without any visible damage to the animal, also, how the @#$% is its head being held up being that it is dead, no one is holding it, and it weighs 1800lbs?

  16. BLU

I dont care WHERE it was killed…its a huge hog

  17. BLU

@ “GINGER”..it isn’t photo shopped….it’s a GREAT BIG BOAR…it’s “TAIL” is hidden in the greenery in the last photo

  18. Sail Naked

Awwwwww! That’s my mother-in-law. What did they shoot it with?

I live in Cut N Shoot Texas, This is a lie, and we have no idea who those freaky people are. The wild pigs around here are no bigger than a dog, and the locals would have known if that photo-shopped pig was from around here. FAIL

It is the people who shot this “monster” that are the real monsters.

These are valid photos of the wild hog that was shot in Turkey.

However, the man and the men are some distance behind the hog so that it looks bigger than it really is, just like you hold a fish out in front of you to take the photo.

The hog was weighed in at 871 lbs, far from the 1800 lbs claimed in the email.
